During a holiday in Vienna, I fell in love with cigars at a beautiful stone shop in the corner of the old market. I bought two Jose L Piedra’s, my first cigars. Since then, all significant occasions, holidays, tours, BBQ’s, and nights out with friends have been made better with a cigar.
In 2023, I turned my passion into my work by establishing OM Cigars in Primrose Hill. Here, I made amazing friends and learned about the industry side of cigars. At OM Cigars, we enjoyed cigars and discussed a wide range of topics. I met Oliver in September 2023, and in 2024, during one 'Herf,' we decided to share these experiences with a larger community. Thus, the idea of the Herf Club was born.
As a young cigar enthusiast who moved to London in 2023, I became a customer at OM Cigars and was attracted to the world of cigars. Coming from a tech background, I found the cigar world to be old-fashioned in its means of communication. As my bond with the cigar world strengthened, I decided to partner with Mansoor, a cigar expert, to create an online space for the global cigar community.
As cigar smokers, we always search for shops and lounges to find and enjoy cigars. However, information about the cigar world is limited, and there is no single resource that collates all the information. Another important aspect of cigar smoking is the community and the knowledge shared during a herf.
We wanted to extend this idea of sharing cigar knowledge and create a community for a wider audience by putting the cigar world online. Hence, the idea of Herfclub.com was born. We strive to provide the most honest and relatable content to cigar aficionados about cigars, accessories, and lifestyle, through articles, pictures, videos, and reviews.
The Herf Club is committed to bringing a down-to-earth approach to the cigar community. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections through conversations about lifestyle, mental health, and business while enjoying our favourite cigars.
